“Emerald passion” necklace

For the alchemists of every epoch and for the ancient religions, the colour of emerald is a symbol of a hidden and mysterious knowledge that transcends the material and sensitive world.
The emerald: there is no green in the world more intense than this.

Creating jewelry of this colour makes me feel like a sort of sublimation of an immersion in emerald water,fluidity and levity that do not know any resistance, but sheer pleasure that permeates every cell.

The central bead of the necklace is made of hand blown glass from Murano. Inside it there are little shiny glass beads (the so-called Venetian “conterie” ) ad a message on paper with the words “Emerald passion” to highlight the significance of the jewel and to give it more originality.

The other beads of the necklace are in lampwork glass. They are made particularly bright by the silver leaf inserted by the glass-blower master during the manufacturing process.

I chose a chainlet and little balls of pink silver because it dilutes the cold colour of silver and it pairs very nicely with the emerald colour.
